How do I connect the Bose Lifestyle TC42PX14 Panasonic plasma?
The Bose system is a little older and only has audio input connections. Television, so I planted, have no audio output placed on the back. I connected the audio cables to the input Inout video / audio on the TV and turn the speakers off, but the sounds do not come through speakers.I Bose has a DVD player connected and I can get the sound to the Bose speakers from the DVD if I directly connect both, but I would get sound from the TV too. Thanks
That model does not have RCA stereo outputs (or analog output). But has optical digital audio output (TOSLINK). So your system needs to be investigated for any possible Bose digital audio inputs. If the Bose audio digital optical just need a TOSLINK cable and go. If the Bose has a digital audio (coaxial) input, you need an optical to coax and coax cable. You need a cable TOSLINK to feed and then the stereo RCA cable to feed the Bose.
