Do any other receiver / tuner / amplifiers work lifestyle 28 speaker Bose system?
The tuner module radio / CD player that has been problematic since I bought now will not even turn on. I was hoping to replace only the tuner while still using speakers, but only one cable connecting the tuner in the base module main speakers that seems unusual. The cable has to come from the tuner that is circular and has 8pins within it ... the other end that goes into the base module has a plug that looks like CAT-5 plug on a computer.
Bose systems are unfortunately rather proprietary. systems are not interchangeable with other systems. can only be used with the equipment does not count, at least for the lifestyle systems. so you're stuck with having to find a Bose receiver. you could try eBay or Craigslist, you might get lucky there
