What happens to my Bose system?
The sound of my speakers is very distorted (crackles) and very low volume. I plugged in the sub properly, the sub seems to put out any sound. If I turn the volume all the way to the speakers off, until you disconnect and reconnect the sub. When I hooked a set of speakers computer to the headphone jack that worked fine. stereo model = Lifestyle Music System Model 20, sub-model model = Acousticmass 2683. I tried to call Bose but the message says its offices are closed temporarily and try again later.
I posted this before, but here you go. As someone who has installed more than one hundred HT systems and keep up on a lot of Audio Visual forums, I can tell you that Bose is more or less some of the worst speakers out there. If you single search in Bose, in any audio forum and see that Bose is disliked by almost every one of them. I suggest you visit or hell AVSForum.com SoundandVisionmag.com do a simple search on any forum and see how bad these speakers are. This is the main problem. Physics dictates that a driver (speaker) can reach the size a certain frequency response. The human ear can hear almost anything between 20 Hz (low) to 20 kHz (high frequency). Or think of it as a mere 100 points in the wide audience. Now because of physics, small cubes more or less have a curve of 95Hz to 13kHz frequency (95Hz and it is very, very generous) and "Low module, which can not be called a subwoofer, because to be called a subwoofer is to achieve a low-frequency response of at least 35 Hz or less. So the Bose Bass module has a frequency response of 47Hz-80Hz (normal crossing point). So if the numbers crisis we see that Bose lack 20Hz-47Hz (27 points 100-point scale). It is also a lack 80Hz-95Hz (15 points) and lacks the upper frequency of 13 kHz to 20 kHz (7 points in the frequency curve. So if we add the missing points out the lack of 49 points in the frequency curve of 100 points. You are essentially missing almost half of what you can hear. So how is that the Bose cubes so good in the shops? Aha this is a good question. Bose is making are scenes from music and film show basically gave all the Bose frequencies can handle. If you bring your own music or movies, you find that sounds very wrong. You'll also find those little Bose small settings, where the speakers are hanging from the arms branched and surrounds it completely. There is a reason. They are very close to you and not has so much space they need to fill.
