How to connect multiple HDMI devices to a HDTV Main
Early HDTVs tend to have only 1 or 2 HDMI ports, bringing the first users in a position a little strange today, because there are so many HDMI devices to be connected, however, ports HDMI so few available.

There are 3 ports, 4 ports, and switch 5-port HDMI, and rare with the ports. The most common and more affordable (due to mass production) are switches 3-Port HDMI.
In a 3-port HDMI switch, four HDMI ports: 3 ports of entry that receives signals from three sources and one HDMI port send output signals to the HDTV. Usually, a LED on each side of the entrance to indicate the selected source.

Automatic HDMI Switching
A good HDMI switch should have this feature automatic switching.
Every time you turn a source HDMI, the HDMI switch will automatically select this source. If you decide to turn into another HDMI switch will switch to this second source. If you turn on another, will go to the third device.

HDMI Switch Manual

A remote control would be much convenient when you can just sit and relax on the couch, and select whatever input by pressing the remote control, instead of going to the switch and press a button on it.
