What makes the best HDMI cables?
A question that is asked quite often when it comes to HDMI cables: What makes this or HDMI cable better than the next?
Well, the truth is that no matter what HDMI cable you are using. If it works, it works, and no matter what a sales clerk looking for a great commission can tell, image quality is not affected at all by using one brand or another or taking expensive gold plated cable, or, in reality, much at all.
All that matters is that you get a cable that works. That's it. While you will not buy an HDMI cable that was patched back together with tape insulation, then you can probably rely on it to give a good picture quality as any other. No matter what you can listen to some pundits, actually is the truth of the matter.
That's not to say that you can always take any old cable, but if you're shopping around for a specific cable, then it must be for reasons beyond the myth of "best image quality."
For example, some of the more expensive cables have a caliber thick. Again, this has absolutely no effect on image quality, but can help in other ways.
Say you're operating your HDMI cable through a wall for not having to worry about a large tangle of cables and wires around your new HDTV and beautiful. A longer cable thick, of course, be more durable and therefore less likely to bend, break and fray. This can save a lot of problems with regard to the inconvenience of having to replace cables shorter every time you damage.
However, on the other hand, let's be completely honest: How often what we really expect from a HDMI cable securely attached to a wall or roof damage to need a replacement? Maybe if you have a problem with rats, of course, but if that's the case, may actually be wiser to take the extra money will be spent in a luxury HDMI cable, which was divided between a cable less expensive and some traps rats.
Now, again, when you buy HDMI cables at an electronics store, you'll probably meet a sales clerk from time to time trying to push more expensive products. Perhaps, for example, if you are in charge of audio-visual part of a live event. For the home user, however, we recommend make sure that you are buying HDMI cable is long enough to reach from its source to your television. Beyond that, you have nothing to worry.
