I have a comcast dct 6412 dual tuner dvr. Can I connect 2 HDTV's to this at the same time?
I have a DCT6412 and was wondering if I can connect more than 1 TV to this. It is a "dual tuner". I am renting a separate tuner for my bedroom but want to know if I can get a 30' HDMI (plenty long enough) and connect it to my bedroom TV from the 6412 box, if I can watch different channels on on both TV's if they were on at the same time. Would I need a splitter? what does dual tuner even mean?
No. There are two tuners, but look at the back. You aren't getting two different program streams out of it. Those outputs are all the same program stream.
